Every parent tries their best. We want our children to hear and learn positive messages and lessons. We want to guide them to become the best versions of themselves that they can be.
But sometimes it’s hard. Really hard. Frustrating as hell.
You wonder how much of what you say actually gets through to your kids.
Are they listening?
Do they hear you?
How can you know?
I figured everything I said went right past my teenage daughter.
She’d roll her eyes at me. She’d huff and puff and tell me how annoying I was.
That’s why I was so shocked when this happened. So stunned that I was moved to tears.
Here’s my story of that day.
Your kids are listening, they are watching, you ARE making an impact.
